Who Should Attend

Built for technology leaders
who operate at the top

The CIO Initiative Summit is not a general technology conference. It is a carefully curated gathering of C-level technology executives who come to engage seriously, not to be sold to, not to collect business cards, but to think, learn, and connect with peers at their level.

Attendance is limited to ensure every conversation is high-calibre. We apply the same peer criteria to summit attendees that we apply to Parliament participantship.

Chief Information Officers
Enterprise and mid-market CIOs navigating digital transformation, AI adoption, and organizational change.
Chief Technology Officers
CTOs and technology leaders responsible for platform strategy, engineering, and technical direction.
C-Level Technology & Business Leaders
CISOs, CDOs, CHROs, CMOs, CEOs, and C-level leaders with technology responsibilities. Former CIOs in board, advisory, or executive roles are especially welcome.
Parliament Participants
Parliament participants attend one summit per subscription year complimentary, and this summit may be applied as that benefit.

A Different Kind of Summit

Not a conference.
A think tank

At most technology conferences, executives participate as speakers, presenting to a general audience, compensated because the event depends on their name. That model works when vendors fund the agenda.

The CIO Initiative Summit is built differently. You are not here to speak at an audience. You are here to think alongside peers. Every session is a roundtable. Every voice carries equal weight. The conversation goes where the room takes it, not where a sponsor’s agenda leads.

A small number of carefully selected partners help cover event infrastructure: AV, production, and operational costs. Because of this limited partnership model, we cannot subsidize registration at scale. What that gives you in return is a room without commercial pressure, where candor is the norm and nothing leaves the table.

The Chatham House Rule applies to all sessions. What is said in the room stays in the room. Participants are free to use information discussed, but may not reveal who said it or where it was heard. This is what makes the conversation genuine.

Your TBA registration includes
Two hotel nights at a location to be announced, arranged by The Executive Initiative and included in your registration. All meals throughout the summit, evening receptions, and an open bar are included. You arrive, and everything is taken care of.
What you are paying for
An evening and a full day of peer-led sessions with C-level technology executives. No panels designed around a sponsor’s product, no keynotes from vendor CEOs, no exhibition floor. The agenda is built by and for the participants in the room.
Who is in the room
Attendance is by invitation and application. Every participant is a C-level technology executive: CIOs, CTOs, CDOs, and their peers. The registration fee is one part of how we maintain that standard. You are not attending a conference. You are joining a cohort.
Parliament participants attend complimentary. Parliament subscription includes one summit per year at no additional cost. If you lead technology at the enterprise level and are interested in Parliament, request an invitation.
